yes, we filipinos love our lumpia! turon (too-róhn) is filled with banana and sometimes langka (jackfruit). sometimes it is rolled in sugar before frying, leaving it with a crispy, caramel shell. mmmm.

I love banana lumpia! It's actually one of my favorites. I used to make lumpia all the time, but since I don't have to cook for large numbers of people anymore, I haven't made it in years!
