props to the saipan blogger for his self-described 0.15 seconds of fame as an extra in this sapporo draft one advert. as he says, it's not really beer, but "beer flavored liquor made from pea protein." mmmmmm. sounds, um, tasty. kanpai!

"liquor made from pea protein"? sounds like a sneaky way to recycle the pods once the peas have been sucked out by Mr Birds Eye Sailor and flash frozen.
