wine recommendations, please!

i'm steeping fruit in vino. i am doing mixed berries in red, yellow peaches in red, and white peaches in white. i don't have a clue about reds, but i'm leaning towards a pinot grigio or even a moscato d'asti for the white peaches.

could someone suggest wines to use as steeping liquids for each of these?
